My only complaint was the decision not to include heated and cooling front seats for a car at this price point. I wasn’t going to pull a buyer from a limited edition in my opinion and the reason I purchased a limited for my wife and the heads up display. We have a 2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport and those two features are a really great extra feature.

While I love the Jetta, and back in the 70's, I was a sales manager for a VW dealer in N.Y. equipment wise, the vehicle falls way short of it's competition. You have to go to the SEL to get nav. and satellite radio, which puts the Jetta into medium class cars price wise, not compact.

Wow it really doesn't like being powered on with the door open does it? That warning chime was very annoying.

Finally an EV with real door handles! I greatly prefer this style of handle over the kind that are recessed and pop out when you need to use them as on many other EVs.

I had the same reaction on my first in-person encounter with the Chevy Blazer EV (which shares a platform with the Honda Prologue) about how wide it is. But this Honda Prologue is very different from the Blazer EV in its styling, and I really find the Prologue to be a very nicely styled automobile.

This is not a reflection of your review. They are always hyper detailed so I appreciate that Mike. My hang up is every state now has exceptionally harsh distracted driver penalties and tickets. So what do auto manufacturers do? Put a freakin ipad in the center console that force you have to stare at it to change some feature or option. Pretty much eliminates many seniors from buying those trim levels since they prefer manual buttons and knobs.

Great video! However, I want to make a correction: you said that the rear seats don’t recline, but they do. If you look at 6:31 in the video, you will see a black strap with white drawing on it beside the seat belt. If you zoom in, it is a strap that you pull for the recline forward and back. 😊

Great review of the new Forester. I like the look the vehicle but was surprised how poorly the wireless charging was designed. I also hate the stop start all the new cars have.

Dang. When did the Forester get so ugly? Looks like an 2013 Ford Explorer, only bloated.

I would rather they just hid the exhaust than have only one pipe showing and a blank on the other side. It looks unfinished.

Volkswagen needs to offer a camping mode option to run the ac during overnight camping trips,as well as a inflatable mattress option,no brainer

I love these because no one's gonna buy them and I'll be able to pick one up for 12 grand in a few years.

I planned on getting a CR-V hybrid and just happened to see a new ‘23 Accord arrive on the lot. It looked a lot better in person to me and it drove much better than the CR-V. Ended up going home with a ‘23 EX-L hybrid and I absolutely love it. BTW, I may be the only one who actually likes the simulated shifts. If they didn’t have it people would just complain about engine drone.

Disappointing that is not assembled in Japan anymore. After 3 Foresters I got me a 2022 Outback and the details quality is not the same.

We need to stop making these all EV’s. There’s no need for it no matter what the “climate change people” say. There’s already climate change it happens every year: FALL TO WINTER, WINTER TO SPRING, SPRING TO SUMMER, SUMMER TO FALL. Just stick with all gas cars and trucks.

Thanks so much for sharing this review That's a very good back seat setup, flip up and latch, without any clumsy strap Toyota Hilux's back seat isn't as user friendly, quite the opposite. I think it's similar to the tacoma's back seat mechanism. with straps and buttons, not very secure , and impossible to flip up and lock/latch single-handedly 😔 Hilux's back seat is even worse than Tacoma's, the back rest doesn't flip down so the space behind it isn't accessible. It's a very lazy (or dumb?) design

Is this one of the vehicles that are easy to steal with a usb cord? I am looking at getting this

Disappointing that a $40K Mazda couldn't include a couple extra LED bulbs in critical locations.
